Serious-grayscale
Uploaded: March 26, 2003 20:19:54
This was shot on Fuji Astia color slide film and then cross processed. It came back green! So after scanning I converted it to greyscale and liked it much better. Canon EOS 1v, 28-80 mm lens

Hey Steph. Congrats on all your wonderful shots this month. I think I agree with you here - this is much better without the "green sheen"- (remember, you showed me the green version).I do like the effect you got with that film and cross proc. though. Maybe with a dark, moody image it would look cooler.
Congrats on these (and also on the you-know-what!) hee hee #82375

LOL Thanks, Piper. I am going to try cross proc. again sometime again. I liked it, but now have a better idea of what I am going to get :O)I will have to send this one in I think :O) #82379

I have no idea what cross processing is!! but I like this finalist shot! Congrats STephanie! Well deserved! And good luck!! #82453Stephanie Adams May 26, 2019
Thanks Dolores :O) Cross processing is when you develop slide film (E-6) in regular negative film developing. I didn't like this serious pose in the wild cross processing look, so I turned it to grayscale. Hope that made sense Dolores :O) #82470Monika Sapek May 26, 2019
