Nice shot Dolores!!! Looks great! #16764Dolores Neilson May 26, 2019
Thank you so much Cees!! The owner competes at all the state fairs with these Belgian geldings. I appreciate that you took time to comment!! Happy Holidays! #34760Bernard B. Travers May 26, 2019
Great horse'n around Dolores. He's got Mr. Ed beat, hands down. Good photograph DN. Great color and contrast. #34780Kathleen Clemons May 26, 2019
Love the composition and that wonderful color, Dolores. :) #34811Patricia A. Cale May 26, 2019
Good horse shot, Dolores. I love his expression. His personality really comes through in this photo. #34814Cathy M. Gromball May 26, 2019

Egads!! I just have time to turn around and what do I catch you all doing?Being SO NICE!!
Hi Bernard!! Yep, meet Mr. Ed's son! (before he was gelded, of course!) It's a privilege receiving one of your comments, Bernard! thanks so very much!!
Ah...my Mainiac friend...Kathleen!...
Much appreciated comment!! Oh, you need to see their color with your own eyes..cameras cannot do justice. I'm going to try shooting them again...maybe this summer.
Hello Pat!! I find it high priase that you feel his personality is recorded here...getting the personality is the tough part. Many thanks and Happy Hanukkah!
Cathy...thank you so much for taking time to comment! As I said to Pat, the personality part is high praise! I was delighted the skies were blue that day...otherwise, the pic would be weak in color. I said I wish Fred was mine...but that was if I could afford to hire someone for all the maintenance he requires!! I want the irresponsible part...just ride him and be with him...let someone else do the shoveling. Many thanks, Cathy!
And again to everyone for being so kind! #34839
Patricia Marroquin May 26, 2019
Fred looks very friendly. I don't think he minded at all that you took his photo, Dolores. And what a photo! Very nice. Makes me smile. #34849Dolores Neilson May 26, 2019
Hi Patricia! Nope...didn't find in the least! Maybe he's used to it! He's shown in all the Ct Ag fairs so perhaps he's used to cameras. My shutter "sound" thingy is always off so maybe that helped too. I know winders and shutter sounds can spook horses....I've heard. (I don't know if that's correct or if I'm watching too many movies!) Was great to see you smile! #34850Murry Grigsby May 26, 2019
Nice work, Delores. I really like the low angle that you used. The blue sky really sets off the portrait. Fred is looking good!Murry #34864
Dolores Neilson May 26, 2019
Greetings Murry! Thanks so much!! Not only was I aiming for a blue background but was trying to eliminate the ugly bare branches that kept straying into my frame. Fred must have wondered what I was doing down there! Many thanks for your complimentary note!! #34868Ray Charles May 26, 2019
