The guide and her Lamas are getting ready to make the seven mile one way trek up to Mt LeConte Lodge in the Smoky Mountains. The lodge is only accessible by foot. Supplies are taken in and out twice a week. We did the hike last Summer. Very beautiful and secluded place.

Great scene, quite unexpected for the location, Tammy. On the other hand, I did run into some Lamas in the hills in Croatia, so I guess they are quite adaptable. #11637979Reynaldo D. Reyes September 05, 2017
This is not a common sight indeed and we're treated to a look at these charming Lamas. They must be curious themselves to see you with your camera. #11638018Amalia Sylvia Arriaga Salinas September 05, 2017

You must be as fit as a fiddle doing a 7 mile hike one way. This is fascinating to see, have been over to the mountains before, never seen anything like this. I would have been thrilled to see it and get a beautiful picture like this Tammy. Interesting, beautifully done, original look. #11638227Chuck Green September 06, 2017
