Over 50 years ago, when I studied film photography in college, my instructor said that with black and white film, we can focus on the composition and the elements of design and not be distracted by the color. You have shown this is not only possible, but can be well done.Wonderful envisioned and captured image, Elida!! Your image also has terrific tonality, and elements of design. Hope to see this again. #1395380

Absolutely stunning, Elida. I agree with Bunny about the potential for distraction when working with color. I have experienced the joy and challenge of workinging with B&W this month and will continue to work with it more now. Your image has raised the bar of that challenge even higher... wonderful job! #9549519Elida Gutierrez July 23, 2011
Thank you Bonny, I'm so impressed and flattered for you comment because I have never studied photography like you, all that I know is been by watching, reading, asking and admiring all the marvelous photographers here. #9549522Elida Gutierrez July 23, 2011
