Your pov shows such a vast landscape, Nadia, one that's been beaten not just by weather, but also by the passage of time. Those bushes are certainly hardier than most, to withstand the repeated abuse of heat and wind. This scene probably looked the same 100 years ago...or 1,000 years ago.
