Grace in Green and Purple

I cannot identify this wildflower cluster. I've searched every way I know. It was blooming in July on the edge of the woods in Southeastern Pennsylvania. Regardless of its nameless condition, I find it very beautiful.

Michelle, I think you will find it is a variety of Veronica or Royal Candles. They come in quite a few different types with slightly different leaf foliage. They grow quite well in our area and I see them quite a bit in gardens as I gow on my walks. In full bloom they are quite spectacular. Hope this may help!! #11110722John Connolly August 18, 2014
