Tiny spider on Blackberry blossom
Uploaded: April 11, 2005 03:04:16
Same little spider taken the next day. This is the same blackberry blossom only now it is open. I was surprised to find the little spider still there. It took a while to get his picture because as I would move in to shoot he would scurry around to the back of the flower.

Thanks everyone. I love these blooms too, it is just a blackberry bloom, but they are really beautiful when they first open. They are kind of delicate so get really ratty in a short time. I just couldn't believe that little guy was still there. #1245932Marsha S. Smith April 11, 2005
I went out to check on the spider this afternoon and am posting 2 shots. One is all that is left of the flower. The other is the spider was on one of the leaves just below the ruined flower and is having a hearty lunch. #1246016William C. Raco April 11, 2005

Neato, Marsha! If the spider is there tomorrow, you have to give it a name. :-) #1246720Marsha S. Smith April 11, 2005
Thanks, Noel. He doesn't like me very much, hides everytime I try to take his picture. But it sure has been fun seeing him there everyday. I am really afraid of spiders as a rule, but this guy is only about 1/4" across - legs and all. #1246784Laurence Saliba April 11, 2005
