Great Blue Heron
Uploaded: August 18, 2013 06:23:25
While exploring the Bolsa Chica Wetlands in Huntington Beach California I came across a Great Blue Heron who was sitting motionless foe the longest time. I was able to and take my time composing my image captures.
I edited this image using Lightroom 5 & Nik Viveza.

Beautifully composed and processed, Art. Very nice details and colors. What a great opportunity you had to capture the best of this typically elusive bird. #1540940Arthur Bohlmann August 18, 2013
Thanks for commenting Susan. These birds are very common in Southern California and usually ignore humans if they don't get too close #10812660Gary R. Smith August 19, 2013
