Sunday Morning Series

Editorial Story: Life for the parents a rambunctious two-year-old boy and twin baby girls is challenging. Juggling work schedules, toddler soccer classes, nighttime feedings, doctor checkups, etc. is stressful and demanding. The angle I wanted to communicate was that in the middle of all that chaos, shared minutes to relax and enjoy simple family time make it all worthwhile.

This is such a touching image, Norma. Very nice work. #1513192Cynthia M. Wiles March 01, 2013
I absolutely LOVE this! As a mom of 4 (no twins although I wished for them) I know the juggling act...I think what makes this shot great is the relaxing dad and the very alert, interested infant, plus the muted color...It's a wonderful photo!Cindy #10592121Norma Warden March 01, 2013
Thank you so much for your understanding comments!Merna L. Nobile April 14, 2013
Dear Photo Friend: I feel that something has changed at Better Photo but cannot tell you just what has happened. I have been here since 2003 and most every month I have written to all the winners telling them how their work touches me. I have witnessed photographs that bring tears to my eyes and colors that are unbelievable, now I am worried that like all good things that it will not be here the next time I look.
But the feeling of not being able to congratulate all the winners for the hard work, and sharing their talent with all of us makes me so sad.
However it turns out and even if this is the last time I have this privilege, to let you know how exceptional your work has been, please know that I will never forget.
CONGRATULATIONS to all of you for the month of February, 2013, I send my very best to you always, Merna Nobile

Merna, I'm not sure what you are referring to, but I want you to know how much I have appreciated your kind and generous comments the past few years. I hope you get this message. I tried to contact you from your gallery, but the form doesn't work. Sincerely, Norma Warden #10653348Merna L. Nobile April 14, 2013
Hi Norma: I think that they have changed their judging standards and, as usual, the members are the last ones to know. From what I can see the second half of March had very few Editors’ Picks and I have not seen a single one in April. Whatever happens, keep well. Merna#10653354
