These little birds, though fairly common in the Everglades, are a real challenge to photograph. They don't seem to stand longer than a split second in any one spot, and being no bigger than a couple of inches does not make it any easier!

Fantastic, Sara!!! It all came together in this one, the composition, the water droplets, the DOFand the colors of the background. Great job and patience! #202209Sara And Dick January 05, 2005
Thank you Duane! I saw in your website that you have many "little" birds as well, so you know the challenge they can be!! I recently took a picture of a white eyed vireo that I will be adding to our website soon! Hope you get to enjoy that one as well. Good luck with your photography and congratulations on such great shots! Thanks again! #1016038Judy S. Fung January 05, 2005

Judy, Karma, Brinn, Ronald - Thank you all for your comments! It is the simplest things in life that generally attract my attention, and this little bird, though simple in his surroundings, was very difficult to catch! I am so honored that you found him interesting enough to reply! Thank you all so much!!! #1018049Carole Lydon January 12, 2005
It may have been difficult Sara but you have captured an excellent shot - perfect in every way.Regards
