Mountains are big and your perspective of them can certainly change with a lens. I wanted to make the almost 10k feet from the from viewpoint to the top of the peak to be felt. All of its ridges and gullies are endless, there can't be a person who has explored that whole mountain, there is so much nearby that would steal one's attention. It speaks about it'
