We rec'd a very emotional speech from this excellent Lincoln portrayer at the Civil war re-enactment in Long Beach. His portrayal was poignant and moving.

And so is your image, Dale. (Doesn't look at all like Gettysburg, though) #1398112Robert Jensen August 03, 2011
Great meeting you at this event Dale, and outstanding comp. The background fits in perfectly with the title you have chosen. #9579049Dale Hardin August 03, 2011
Thank you Michelle. You're right. Maybe should have used an open field instead. Had to do something because the background was very cluttered when I shot this. Thanks Robert. #9579292

Excellent portrait and effects, Dale!! I know what you mean about the b/g there...almost forgot to clone out the 605 Freeway from one of my shots... #9580522Dale Hardin August 03, 2011
Thank you Robert. Here is another version of this shot. For some reason I felt at the time of posting that it should be more subdued but I like this version also.By the way, the background is the road to Bodie. #9580550

Thanks Rita. Will be going to another event in November that is even larger than this one was. LOL Still have over 100 images from the last one that haven't looked at yet. Plus all those from the month long trip AND most of the Vegas trip. Yikes. #9731508Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
