Stovepipe Wells Dunes, Sand Storm, 20/11/2004

Uploaded: November 28, 2004 16:14:00

Description

A windy early morning sunrise in Death Valley, CA. These dunes are near Stovepipe Wells. Shot just as the sun was rising, giving the colour to the blowing sand in the foreground.

Canon 17-40 F4L, with a polariser and sand in my eyes, blowing around 30 mph.

Terrific shot Gordon. The lighting is great, and especially like the blowing sand captured. The blue sky with the white clouds help to set off the color of the sand nicely! #943370
