Big congratulations to all August Finalists and Participants!!
We enjoyed a lovely sunset view silhouetting the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House .... unfortunately it was blowing a gale and the water was very choppy and unattractive so I decided to play with the flood filter on this one ...

Fantastic capture - WOW, Renee... #7964952Michelle Alton September 21, 2009
Gorgeous work, Renee. Did you know that in New Jersey there is a bridge (Bayonne Bridge) that is identical to the Sydney Harbour Bridge? Unfortunately, there is no harbour and there is no Opera House, so it is not much of a photo op! #7964954

Considering the conditions weren't in your favour, you've certainly come up with a winner, Renee! And at the moment Sydney is in the grip of a freak dust storm at dawn and the whole atmosphere is bright orange as though we're in an inferno - extremely eerie! Bev #7971812
