ABOVE the Tree-line [Yellowstone Park Pictures]

Taken Sept 16th 2011 at about 11500 ft along the Beartooth SCENIC Byway.
If you plan a trip to Yellowstone NP ,BE CERTAIN to work at least a drive south over the Beartooth into your plans. It's only Snow free from June till about the time we drove it. We hit snow going back south the morning of Sept 17th.
