First feeding
Uploaded: April 19, 2004 09:25:12
The first feeding of an Agraulis Vanillae butter fly after hatching from his/her pupas (cacoon). We ended up with 3 butterflys that lived their life cycle in a large screened in porch. This weekend we have seen our first cattarpillars born to one of the three. 50mm 1.4 lens with a close up ring. SB-30 flash

First off how awesome that you have been able to follow the life cycle of this beautiful butterfly. But then to capture it so very well. Great colors and the BG is excellent. #119048Alan J. Beachler April 19, 2004
Thank you very much for your comment. BTW. I think I have more pics of this butterfly than I do of my kids. LOL #491688Marie Fields April 19, 2004
