Very pretty, June!! #507673Stanley J. Contrades April 28, 2004
Very nicely done and seen, June! Where on Kaua'i was this shot?June Jiang April 28, 2004
Thank you all for the nice words. This was shot at a small garden at Kiahuna Plantation by Poi'Pu beach. There were lots of orchids and cactus also. I had the word Kauai on the picture because I am planning to have it printed as a bookmark. If my dream of publishing a photo book ever comes true, this can be the book cover. #508088Stanley J. Contrades April 28, 2004
Know the garden you speak of and hope you have many keepers like this one. I live maybe 30 minutes northeast of Poi'pu and that was the reason for my asking where this was shot! Good luck on your publishing dream and am sure you'll get there!June Jiang April 28, 2004
Stanley, I just looked at your gallery. Very nice. I like alot of them, esp. the Guava. Do you live in Kauai or you traveled there? If you like orchids, check out the garden I mentioned. You will find lots of photo opportunities there. #508096June Jiang April 28, 2004
Oh, my God, you live there!! I was there for 2 weeks and didn't want to come back. I don't remember how many times I dreamed about Kauai and I cried seeing the flat land here when I got back. You are so lucky! #508100Stanley J. Contrades April 28, 2004
:-) Our responses must have crossed in cyberspace!! Yes, I was born and raised on Kaua'i, though at the moment I am spending three weeks with my daughter who lives here in Honolulu! When I get back to Kaua'i I plan to get with a friend of mine who has an orchid nursery, although I do grow just one type which is the Honohono! Well, you know you can always come back this way, but 2 weeks ... not enough time for one island :-( Where is the "flat land here" located? e-Mail me if you like as I would be interested to hear what you think of our Garden Isle.Dottie Shepherd May 13, 2004
