Great pic, Dean, to go with great title! #173577Tim Chong August 21, 2003
What a great photo. Not only are there are three identical pelicans, but each have different beak colors. I would be surprised if this wasn't a winner! #173591Patricia Marroquin August 21, 2003
I agree with everyone else. This is fantastic! Love the different colored beaks. I think we'll see this among the finalists. :-) Nice job, Dean! #173596Joy Brown August 21, 2003

Very cool shot! Love the eyes and the whole staggered effect! The light and shadow ain't bad, either. #174453Dean Sandifer August 21, 2003
Wow, Thanks everyone for the nice comments. I am one of my parents' 3 sons, so I'm kind of used to noticing (and shooting) groups of 3. Also my parents were visiting for Christmas when I/we spotted these pelicans while on a nature walk. It's kind of special to me. #174474Tim Chong September 09, 2003
Yeah! I told you it would make the finalist.#193373
