An adventurous trek today led me to this.
Gerda Grice January 09, 2003
A very interesting and effective composition, Dolores. It looks as if your trek really was pretty adventurous! All that barbed wire looks scary! #18369Carol Sherman May 26, 2019
Fabulous angle and love the simplicity. Very moody and forlorn looking Dolores. #40260Damian P. Gadal May 26, 2019
Wonderful! #40263Dolores Neilson May 26, 2019
Greetings Gerda! Yes, I did enjoy my outing yesterday...though I ended up being so entrenched in a network of back roads that I feared if I got stuck, I'd be in trouble. Sometimes I overestimate my vehicle. The barb wire is electrified. I appreciate that you "stopped by" to support and encourage, Gerda. THANK YOU!Good Morning, Carol!! Oh, those qualities were what I was aiming for! Thank you for "telling" me that! Very much appreciated!
Hi Damian!! And many thanks to you for commenting also. Always a pleasure!!
Have a good day everyone! TGIF! #40306
Sharon E. Lowe May 26, 2019
Delores - wonderful image and great choice to do it in B&W! Glad you didn't get electrified and managed to find you way home! #40319Carolyn M. Fletcher May 26, 2019
I'm so jealous of your snow, I can't stand it!! #40346Lem Metro May 26, 2019
Brilliant! Perfect for B&W. Everything is right about this photo. #40367Dolores Neilson May 26, 2019
Good morning, Sharon! Thank you so much for taking time out of your busy morning to comment! I value your comments immensely. Many thanks! I'm glad I didn't get electrified too! I've finally asked a farmer about the voltage on one of those wires and they say they wouldn't do any damage to humans but they still frighten me!Carolyn...well, girlfriend...I'm so jealous of backyard sunsets, I can't stand it either! So there! Don't fret...you'll be clobbered before you know it. Trouble is getting out in it is very challenging so even if you have tons, it's finding a way to get out in it. I really take alot of risks, I think.
Hi Lem!! Oh..your compliment on this image made me feel like Edsel Adams for a brief moment! Thank you sooo much for the gift of your kind compliment. I value your time and comment IMMENSELY! Happy day! #40371

Birdie...you had confidence in this image and you were right...THANK YOU SO MUCH...for being right and for your congratulatory comment!
Hi again, Sharon!! Thank you TONS!! And again, congrats to you too!
Bob...I appreciate your comment immensely! Thank you for sharing your helpful and kind suggestion. You made a good point about details in the fenceposts.
If I had been closer to the first fence post (no way could I have captured detail in the second one), details would have recorded, considering that white snow reflects light and it was even that day.... I think I was too far away. I think use of the flash would have washed out the foreground (it's happened before with snow)...but I will try it next time to see what happens!!
I appreciate that you care enough about my success to extend helpful suggestions. Thank you!!
Gerda...Many thanks for your thoughtfulness and generosity once more! Once again, I am touched by your kindness. Thank you so much! #55853
